From today’s show: Thursday 24th August 2017, download the podcast now!
The penultimate show, and what a cracker it was! So much so that this is a two-part blog post – anyone who has ever seen Will Seaward before will understand why! A separate post is required to contain him, with the full set of pictures in their own album on my flickr page. As always, these images are free to download for fair use under Creative Commons. A selection of photographs are below, detailing the joy of Jon’s epic facial expressions as he meets Will for the first time…
“Right, Jon. We have a very special first guest today.”
“If you imagine a loud, booming voice, pretty much the complete opposite of you…”
“Now, turn around very slowly, he’s behind you.”
“Jon, this is Will Seaward.”
Jon’s facial expressions versus Will’s voice.
Jon appears to be regretting coming in today…
It’s ok, I think he’s beginning to relax.
Relax, perhaps, but not necessarily understand…
Protective air punctuation.
I’m not sure this expression has a name.
Jon’s face seems concerned
Ewan suggests a microphone experiment – Will is delighted; Jon’s face isn’t sure.
Will starts at the front of the audience, close to the yellow mic.
Loud and clear! Move back a bit then.
Three rows back, next to some Real Audience Members. Still picking up clearly.
A few rows further back again, mic still having no problems picking up Will’s voice.
Right at the back of the theatre now, quoting Shakespeare.
Bye Will! Thanks for coming in 🙂
